Shake 06:11
Trying to quench her thirst for a pale blue night She takes a stroll to the bleak, bleak countryside Against her wish a sickly moon just stood and watched and grinned Taken aback By the length of the track Sorely in need Of a change of luck She shook Just like a leaf In a breeze Blowin’ So much harder Than it seemed And if the lack of love in the face of most Don’t vanish soon Well she vowed to the clowns of worries and frowns in time To ever be blue Not the gay and merry But those who muse As an ancient art Know the tremble when she starts To shake Just like a leaf In a breeze Blowin’ The stitches Straight from her seams And the fear and affliction of lacking direction And having to beggar smiles from stranger’s eyes Well it made her a sheep and she lost her peace Before she learned to roll the dice As she chanced To try her luck As an agent Of wondrous lust She shook Just like a leaf In a tempestuous breeze Blowin’ Her a lot of Sweeter things Than she’d dreamed

How Long 04:47
How long must I wait How long must I wait? ‘Til you make sense to me Fill me with serenity Your love is natural Like your mind is ruled by heartstrings While mine must ramble on You like my charms sweet I’d like to sweeten them up for you But you’re always seeing a darkness And you go where I can’t follow you She lay in the sun and I loved her She lay in the sun and that ain’t all The next thing she done left and gone You like my charms sweet I’d like to sweeten them up for you But you’re always seeing a darkness And you go where I can’t follow you Maybe we should lay low for a while Or keep trying and die from crazy sorrow Or maybe I should grab a great caliber shooter And blow you out of my mind For how long How long ‘Til you make sense to me Fill me with serenity Only your love could make me Roam the streets like a homeless dog But ain’t it better than no love at all? You like my charms sweet I’d like to sweeten them up for you But you’re always seeing a darkness And you go where I can’t follow you

Michini 05:23
Michini, Michini This is a song To right all wrongs And to show you How chilled it can be There were times I longed for you There were times I wanted to Choke the living life Out of you Michini, Michini This is a song To right all wrongs You tried To put down on me Ah but please don’t misunderstand Think me less of a man For telling you no pleasant lies It wouldn’t do For to satisfy Michini Your mind may turn like the changing wind ‘Til my inners burn and I must keep adrift Or be swept From certainty That I’m doing alright by me Michini This is a song To right all wrongs Done By me and by you Michini, Michini

Julia 06:13
Julia Julia and I Went walking side by side To my delight She struck a note In my mind And it rings still It’s ringing still Since our last Goodbye Julia has had Some things turn out bad She made a guy Her home for a while But he let her pay all their bills Made her pay quite dearly Until she had to bid him Goodbye And it’s a chip on my shoulder Though I hardly know her That her heart’s still split from missing him For Julia has said Wrapped up in my bed ‘You’re a sensitive guy you’ve struck a note In my mind And though I really should I really ought to, I really should I won’t, yet, bid you Goodbye’ And as our passions flew Both her eyes turned to blue Though one was meant to be brown She thought it all too much That two strangers such as us Should act, speak and feel as we’ve done Julia I want good morning, good evening but I don’t want any Goodbye Julia I hope you don’t act peculiar when next I try to strike another note in your mind That’ll ring out Ring all the way out Without any hasty Goodbye Julia

Lay Me Down 04:47
The wind carried a whistle to my bewildered ears And it didn’t tell me anything though I liked the way it screamed And I would sail to Saragossa, not a penny to my name Travel all the beaches and port towns, I may never stay the same But then my sweet lover cries out with an appeal She says ‘Baby, don’t you leave me and take to the Deep Blue Sea’ And her breast issued a promise with her fair face fighting a frown And I, I’m so tempted to whisper ‘Lay me down, lay me down Lay me down, lay me down’ But the Sea, the sea it calls me: ‘Don’t rest in your easy decline. You’ve never rocked on my foam waves and there will come a time You will peak out your city window, so terribly at ease And will long, long to be buried in my Deep Blue Retreat’ And so the Sea did made a promise, I may never sleep too sound Should I give in to my Baby’s arms and whisper: ‘Lay me down, lay me down Lay me down, lay me down.’ And so I drift along here and I don’t know where to go I’m imprisoned by my longing and shackled by my love And one day I may sit back with the teardrops pouring down I’ll have lost my love and my wisdom for a whisper: ‘Lay me down, lay me down Lay me down, lay me down’

I 04:08
I want to be rid of you I want to be rid of you You’re always hangin’ round Doin’ my heart no good You ain’t nobody’s cure You ain’t nobody’s cure Whether you’re up or down I can never be sure It makes me lonesome to have you by my side It makes me lonesome to have you by my side Seems like you’re all I’ve got And that does not Seem right I want to be rid of you I want to be rid of you You’re always hangin’ round Doin’ my heart no good

On & On 04:31
And I do Catch you when you’re cold And I do Teach you when you’re bold And I’d like To spend a spring in your arms So I might Catch some warmth off your charms Trust me Love I’ll save my time for you And if you Feel cast aside and blue Tell me Babe I’ll come running to save you All I want Is to steal a little love And we’d go On and on But we stumble on a stone to bliss You blame our fortune I blame your wits And you cry Oh Baby do you cry Seaside’s sunny but my Baby’s blue What the hell is wrong with you? And you cry Oh Baby do you cry Still I do Take you out to town Buy you drinks And all you do is frown Well I thought Our tie was etched in stone And we’d go On and on But we stumble on a stone to bliss You blame our fortune I blame your wits And you cry Oh Baby do you cry Seaside’s sunny but my Baby’s blue What the hell is wrong with you? And you cry Oh Baby do you cry
8.
Well well my Baby’s Eyes They’re so sore from cryin’ But I’d never keep her guessin’ You know she gives me such a blessing When she rolls with ease When she’s on her knees Takes a lot of loving To satisfy me Oh Baby satisfy me Or I’ll stay in the bottom of a whisky bottle Let my soul drift away while I wait for better days Though she rolls with ease When she comes to please I don’t want to live In a world up the creek Ah Baby satisfy me So tell me: What’s the use of a worried mood When there’s strange men in taxis Sellin’ me my vaccines And I’ll catch a train Someplace far away If you’re alone and bored Get high and roam
9.
Oh Lordy Lord How could you Place me so In-between yet far apart? Mmmh Mmmh Oh Lordy Lord Sometimes I Hear you call Other times I don’t hear at all Mmmh Mmmh And sittin’ inside Don’t do no good So I go walking Round my neighbourhood Yeah when my mind’s stopped spinning round I feel good a little while But this game ain’t for winning Ah come again after night Mmmh Mmmh I call my buddy at six o’ clock At seven PM we hit my favourite pub I barely wake up the next morning I’m back where I started again Oh Lordy Lord How could you Place me so? Sometimes I hear you call Other times I don’t hear at all

Enchanted by your nursery rhymes I dance to the bells that chime Fate have Mercy Do I see my Babe coming back at me If God above is one of Mercy Why did he send you me And then take me From your thought-dreams Turning Grace to Jeopardy Babe, am I losin’ it? Babe, am I losin’ it? Swam a while in dull seas of pain Owning but a bottle and my name Then I saw you and you showed me Magic hides when eyes are closed Babe, am I losin’ it? Babe, am I losin’ it? Now we sleep as sun fills the room But your light expels all the gloom Fate have Mercy Do I see my Babe coming back at me Babe, am I losin’ it? Babe, am I losin’ it?
